Services / New Media Art
Interactive, technology-driven artworks built for galleries, brand experiences, and cultural spaces, video, light, and motion that respond to the people in the room.
Event InquiriesWhat It Is
New media art uses digital tools, video, projection, generative software, and sensors to build work that goes beyond a static piece on a wall. Instead of just looking at it, people move through it, trigger it, and change it.
We design and build these installations for galleries, brand activations, and public spaces around Charleston, including a full-service immersive AV installation for the Gibbes Museum of Art's annual fundraiser downtown.

Why Prizm
Every piece starts with an idea, then gets built in video, light, and code to match it.
Sensors and live data let a piece react to motion, sound, or touch instead of running the same loop all night.
Installations are designed around a room's architecture, from a single wall to a full building facade.
Content design, hardware, and programming all happen under one roof, so the piece feels like one idea start to finish.
How It Works
We look at the space and talk through the idea, then sketch out what's possible.
We build the visuals, choose the hardware, and plan any interactive elements.
The piece goes up and gets tuned to the exact space it lives in.
We're on-site for the opening, or available on call for a longer-term installation.
Standalone works or full exhibitions designed for a specific room or collection.
An interactive centerpiece for a launch, pop-up, or trade show booth.
A permanent or rotating installation for a lobby, office, or hotel space.
A custom piece designed for a specific wall, room, or collection.
Questions
It's art built with digital tools like video, projection, generative software, and sensors, rather than paint or static objects, and it often responds to the people around it instead of staying the same every time it's viewed.
It overlaps. Projection mapping and light installations are techniques we also offer on their own for events. A new media art piece often combines several of those techniques into one standalone work, usually designed to live in a space longer than a single event.
Yes. We design both one-night event pieces and longer-term installations for galleries, lobbies, and hospitality spaces.
Every piece starts as a custom concept built around your space, not something pulled from a catalog.
Custom content and hardware take time to design and build, so we recommend reaching out as early as possible, especially for a permanent installation.
